This recipe came from a friend of mine from Vancouver, another soaptress/cosmetic chemist. It is made to protect your skin from any harsh environment, including bleach, branches/trees, or other things that can damage our hands. It is also called “Bartender’s Barrier” for my bartender friends, “Fisher’s Friend” because it contains a harmless aquatic tranquilizer, or just “Liquid Gloves” as they work great for anyone needing hand protection such as gardeners, concrete workers, or anyone whose paws need special attention.
It is made with the following premium ingredients (as always 100% natural): Shea Butter, Beeswax, Sweet Almond Oil, Distilled H20, BTSM-50 a non-toxic emulsifier, Glycerin, and PE 9010, a non-toxic preservative, ensuring your product is good for 3 years. A little goes a long way, so the packaging is smaller than most. It is as thick as shortening but as silky soft as our triple peptides lotions.
