Welcome to My Crafty Soap-Making Party hosted at the Wadena Flea and Craft Market.

We’re making genuine soap using the Melt & Pour method, and learning about 3 other methods of making soap at home. The soap base has already gone through saponification, so you can safely focus on the fun part—adding your own colors, fragrances, and artistic designs. In future classes, you’ll learn how to create that soap yourself from oils and sodium hydroxide.

 

We will be using berry embeds and soap is scented in Juicy Couture.

 

Welcome to My Crafty Soap Making Party!

Congratulations on taking your first step into the rewarding world of handcrafted soapmaking!

Today you’ll create your own beautiful Melt & Pour soap while discovering the science, creativity, and craftsmanship behind artisan soapmaking. Along the way, you’ll learn why handcrafted soap is different from many commercial cleansing bars and how soapmakers combine art, chemistry, and quality ingredients to create unique products.

Whether your goal is to make thoughtful gifts, enjoy a relaxing hobby, or eventually create your own recipes from scratch, today’s workshop will provide a solid foundation to begin your soapmaking journey.

We will be using my own molds created to make the Minnesopa TM.  It’s a great gift item, will bring lots of conversation starters, and you will have fun and take home your own bar of soap that you created!
